This game is cool, however it is only 3 stars for a reason. I dont expect lots of modern tetris features, like hold, 7 bag, proper mino colours, a proper kick table, and all that other stuff cause 1: i dont want it to be too easy and 2: what can you expect out of a simple chrome extension after all but at least include a next piece box/preview section pleaaase. The Tetris game here will probably be one of the most basic, bare bones Tetris clones that you will ever play. This thing is super hidden, ugly and difficult to play. When the free online Tetris games are so good, the only real reason to play this one is to chalk up some hardcore nerd points.

Netrix is a clone of Tetris, released as a Mac OS X Dashboard Widget, that I had originally done around 2007 as a way for me to learn multiplayer APIs that had just been added to Unity. Recently I got my hands on the Jai Programming Language and decided to redo that project as it wasn't that complicated, I already had the assets, and could focus purely on implementing it.

Currently it doesn't have multiplayer support nor leaderboards like the original, and not sure when / if that will happen given lack of time. Loopgun mac os.
It is meant as a learning resource for those interested in Jai, and as such full source is provided, although you'll have to wait for Jai to be released in order to build it yourself (check README.txt for more information).
To run the game, launch bin/netrix.exe .
